We understand collectable vehicles, the hobby and the marketplace. We're active in the hobby and we own the types of vehicles that we appraise.
We are vehicle appraisers
We are certified appraisers. We are not involved in any type of employment that could possibly lead to any potential or actual conflict of interest.
The difference between appraisals:
Appraisals done at the local corner garage, local repair shop or by the guy who restored the car are considered shop opinions and are generally not accepted by specialty insurance companies.
A professionally prepared collector vehicle appraisal (for insurance purposes) should be like a real-estate appraisal, with photographs of the vehicle as well as justification for how the appraiser arrived at that valuation. This is what we do.
Not all appraisals are prepared by those who know about the vehicles they are appraising.
